Terms & Conditions

This page contains the terms & conditions. Please read these terms & conditions carefully before ordering any products from us. You should understand that by ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by these terms & conditions.

By placing an order at Dawn Wilson Millinery, you warrant that you are at least 18 years old (or have parents' permission to buy from us and accept these terms & conditions which shall apply to all orders placed at Dawn Wilson Millinery. None of these terms & conditions affect your statutory rights. No other terms or changes to the terms & conditions shall be binding unless agreed in writing signed by us.

Delivery

All hats and headpieces are hand-made to order. 

Hats will be dispatched within 21 days of receipt of order. If however you need your hat urgently  please contact Dawn in advance of placing an order, there may be a small surcharge for a "rush order".

Postage

All items for the UK are dispatched with Royal Mail by Special Delivery for £9 + £1 per extra item in the same delivery. Internationally by International Tracked and Signed for costs £20 + £5 for additional items. Your hat or headpiece is fully insured against loss or damage in transit.

Refunds and Returns

Custom Made/ Made to order.

All hats and headpieces are handmade and therefore unique.  There will inevitably be variations, this is not a fault but a sign that your item is bespoke and exclusive to you.

Dawn Wilson Millinery reserves the right to make small changes to a product as deemed fit.

We are unable to offer an exchange or refund on goods that are made to the customers personalised specifications or the customer has requested specific finishing. However, items may be returned in unworn saleable condition within 14 days of receipt for a refund. You will be responsible for the cost of returned items.

If your item is damaged in the post, contact us immediately on receipt and we will pursue the post office for compensation

Cancellations

If you are a customer in the EU you have the right to cancel your contract within 14 days from the day you place the order. This right does not apply to items that have been made to the customers specifications, made to order items, or items that are personalised.

The item must be returned in unworn condition. If the item has been worn or damaged you will be liable for any costs including return postage.

Please state you wish to cancel your contract include full name, address, email address.

* If received, return item by post at your own cost no later than 14 days after receipt of delivery.

*Please note colours may vary due to screen resolution or suppliers fabric batches. This is not classed as faulty or a defect.

* Please ensure you are ordering the correct size as exchanges are  not permitted. You can learn how to measure your head under colour and sizes.

Intellectual Property

Dawn Wilson Millinery retains all copyright on custom design orders and may choose to resell custom designs. No permission is given by Dawn Wilson Millinery in respect of the reproduction or use for injurious or commercial purposes of any brand names, product names, designs and any other material shown on the www.dawnwilsonmillinery.co.uk website in which intellectual property rights subsist.

 

Security

We take internet security issues seriously and are committed to ensuring your information is stored and handled safely and privately. We accept all major credit cards which are handled by Stripe, we do not keep any records of your payment details. If you are a customer in the EU you have the right to cancel.
